Catalogue launch party photos

Phew, how hot is it today!! The perfect excuse to sit outside with a nice cold drink and catch up on a bit of admin.

After a few busy weeks,  I am finally getting round to getting some photos online from the catalogue launch party!

I love playing with the new Butterfly Wishes set. Using it with the Stamparatus creates something beautiful!

Summer is still nearly here (apparently!)

June showers, heating coming on, floods?! It’s not quite the summer I was expecting. But when it is grey outside and cosy inside, there is only one thing for it... no, not sleeping!! Crafting!

So I had my first ever catalogue launch party on Saturday 8th June, it was so lovely to have my friends over to enjoy all the pretty things I had made, and the promise of pretty things to come, so thank you to all who attended. And if you didn’t? Well you missed out on a fun day of crafts, nibbles and a fabulous raffle. But that doesn’t mean you can’t still enjoy the new catalogue too! Here’s some pictures from the day;

I have planned lots of dates for the diary. These will include a Stamparatus class, a Bird Ballad workshop, Messy days and lots more! Keep an eye on my Facebook page to ensure you don’t miss out. But if you would like a full list of dates for 2019 then let me know and I will get one over to you.

Summer is nearly here!

Although with the weather this weekend it feels like we are already there!

I've had such an amazing week, and it keeps getting better!

Last weekend my lovely mum came to spend a few days with me, it was so nice to see her, but it felt wonderful to be able to include her in my monthly workshop, to share something that I love with people that I love,  it's truly a blessing.

Mushy stuff aside, we made some cards for men. It always seems such a difficult thing to do...but no more! Stampin' Up! have released some amazing stamp sets that make it almost effortless. Don't believe me? Take a look;

Using a layer of Crumb Cake card stock, Whisper White and a few choice Blends, see below for the most effective, simple stamping cards!
The stamp set used here is A Good Man.

We also made cards using Geared up Garage and Country Livin'. 

Up next was a fantastic Friday with the Paper Pumpkin, and a few of the girls. We got together over a glass if something yummy, had a good giggle and made beautiful things! However, on that you will have to trust me for now, as I can't show anything we made just yet... Paper Pumpkin part 2 is coming up and I don't want to give any spoilers !
